Rainier – Avitech ASCII Protocol

• The serial port on the rainier can also be used to

interface with a third party controller for control

over RS232

• Make sure to set Com A to normal, and to

remove the SCP keypad if that is connected

• To test the ASCII commands, use

HyperTerminal with the following settings:

– Bits Per Second: 115200

– Data Bits: 8

– Parity: None

– Stop Bits: 1

– Flow Control: None
